A real store, without a second platform
Selling physical things is where the two part ways. Dreamformer builds your shop on WooCommerce. It lives in your WordPress, carries no monthly store fee, and can take money the day you launch, by card or pay-at-pickup.
For a physical-goods shop, Lovable connects your app to Shopify. Creating the store is free, but selling needs a Shopify plan from $29 a month, billed yearly, on top of Lovable, and it is a second store to run. For digital payments Lovable also has Stripe and Paddle built in.
In our 29 to 30 September test, Dreamformer's bakery sold a gift card at pickup the same day. Lovable's Shopify cart reached checkout but showed "can't accept payments" until a plan was claimed.
