Information We Collect
Account information
When you create a Dreamformer account, we collect your email address and a password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect payment information through our payment processor (Freemius/Paddle). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Usage data
We collect information about how you use the plugin, including the number of AI generation requests, credit usage, and feature interactions. This data helps us improve the product and provide support.
AI generation data
When you use the AI generation features, your text prompts are sent to our API server, which forwards them to our AI provider (Anthropic/Claude) for processing. The generated output (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is stored on your WordPress server, not on ours. We may temporarily store prompts and generation metadata for up to 30 days for debugging and quality assurance purposes.
Hosting data
If you use Dreamformer Managed Hosting, we host your WordPress site on servers we manage. We have access to your server for maintenance, updates, and support purposes. Your website content, database, and uploaded files are stored on your dedicated server.
Server logs
Our servers automatically collect standard log information, including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This data is retained for up to 90 days.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Dreamformer plugin and hosting services
- To process AI generation requests and track credit usage
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To send service-related communications (account confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts)
- To provide customer support
- To improve our products and services

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes your text prompts to generate website content. Subject to Anthropic’s Privacy Policy.
- Freemius — handles plugin licensing, subscription management, and payment processing. Subject to Freemius Privacy Policy.
- Hetzner — provides server infrastructure for managed hosting customers. Subject to Hetzner Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — hosts our API endpoints. Subject to Vercel Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.
AI generation logs are retained for up to 30 days. Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days.
If you use managed hosting, your website data is retained on your server until you cancel your hosting plan. After cancellation, server data is deleted within 14 days.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. All data transmitted between the plugin and our API is encrypted using TLS. Managed hosting servers include SSL certificates, automated security updates, and daily backups.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion — request deletion of your personal data
- Portability — request a copy of your data in a portable format

Cookies
The dreamformer.ai website uses essential cookies for site functionality (session management, login state). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
The WordPress plugin does not set any cookies on your visitors’ browsers. Generated pages do not include any tracking scripts.
Children’s Privacy
Dreamformer is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to your registered address. Your continued use of Dreamformer after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
